This was done to “dig dirt” and influence the Security Council to approve a resolution supporting an invasion. Katharine, furious that the United Kingdom is being led to war under pretenses, leaks the memo from Katharine to a friend in the anti-war movement. She then passes it on to Yvonne Ridley (The Observer journalist Martin Bright).
