“Yes, it was an existence in its own. I owned a very older Ford Explorer Sport, and at some point, the key would not work on the driver’s side, which meant that you were unable to get into the car,” she explained.

In addition, “After auditions, I would sit at the rear of the parking lot. I would open my trunk and get in, then close it behind me and climb over my chairs to exit. This was how I’d get to and from.”

“At a certain point, the key stopped working on the driver’s side, so you couldn’t get yourself in through the door,” she explained. “So after auditions, I’d park at the back of the parking lot, and I’d open the trunk and climb in and pull it shut behind me and climb in overall my seats to get out. That’s how I would come to and fro.”

DeGeneres asked if anyone had ever witnessed her doing this, and Markle stated that she would “play it off” by pretending to be looking for items within her car. “I’d say, “Oh, I’m trying to find my resume and highlighters to write my writing. Maybe it’s still there”” she added.
