Collaboration in journalism is more important now than ever. The Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University understands this reality and organized the Collaborative Journalism Summit to promote it.
Led by Center for Cooperative Media director Stefanie Murray and associate director Joe Amditis, the summit takes place May 4-5 at Montclair State in New Jersey, bringing together journalists, media executives, scholars and technologists to discuss how collaboration can produce more meaningful journalism, better community engagement and more sustainable business models.
Evrybit — one of the summit sponsors — is leading a mobile news team of Montclair State students to cover the event in a collaborative reporting project.
